Based in Dartmouth, we offer Red Cross Certified Emergency First Aid and CPR courses from our Driving school location at 177 Main Street. Please read below for course details and view our calendar to find a date that suits your schedule.
What is the First Aid Workshop? |

The First Aid Workshop is a stand-alone, non-certification option that can be customized to meet the needs of the audience. Suggested audiences include new Canadians, seniors, new parents, and communities affected by disaster.
Delivery can be either in person or in virtual, Instructor-led format and can include any number or combination of the following topics and can be customized. DLC does virtual format and will hold instructor-led in the eventing.
Content is intended to provide an overview of the chosen topic(s), empower individuals with the confidence to act in emergency situations, and facilitate learning in a relaxed, informal environment. Learners receive a First Aid Basics Guide in their language of choice: English, French, Traditional Chinese, Simple Chinese, Hindi, or Punjabi. DLC offers digital versions are available for each, but Red Cross does have print versions |
Completion Requirements
100% attendance, skills demonstration.
Certification
Please note that there is no certification for this course, but you will recieve a certificate of participation via email from the Canadian Red cross.
Length of workshop: We teach this in one or two hour formats
DLC Training is a Authorized Provider of Red Cross First Aid programs.
