Helpful Information Related to Course Payments & Policies
Who We Are

Payment
Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard.
Course prices include the cost of workbooks where applicable. First Aid programs are Tax Exempt.
Any refunds or disagreements in costs, the total liability of DLC Training will be the charged price for the course.
Our Booking system: Those that book online themselves have the option of using PayPal. You may also pay over the phone or in person unless payment is made at the time of booking with Visa, MC or AMEX. Debit and Cash available when the office is open, Monday to Friday 9-4.
Instructor lead classes: Payment required 72 hours prior to start of class, unless arrangements are made with the instructor or the office.
Online Courses and Canadian Red Cross Blended learning courses: Courses must be pre-paid and are nonrefundable. There is no guarantee of suitability by employer. Please check with employer or school to confirm prior to purchasing.
Any changes to this list will be noted in the class description at time of booking. Any discrepancies will be decided solely by DLC Training Ltd.
Refund Policy: There is no refunds.
Course Cancellation
DLC Training Ltd reserves the right to cancel any program if there is inadequate enrollment, COVID-19, severe weather or if there is another factor that is significantly impacting the course.
If a course must be cancelled, you will be informed by e-mail 72 hours in advance when possible.
We use the booking website BookWhen.com to handle bookings and there is a cancellation option there.
All course fees will be refunded only if DLC Training Ltd must cancel a course.
Cancellation by Student
Course fees are non-refundable. Failure to show for a scheduled class will result in a total loss of course fees by the student. Students may transfer to another class and it must be done at least 72 hours before the class that you want to switch from. If a student switches more than three times then they forfeit the fee.
Storm Policy
Should weather conditions be severe and your course be cancelled, it will be on our Facebook page and Twitter account. You will be contacted to find an alternative date to switch your class to.
Use your own discretion; should the weather/road conditions in your area be bad and you choose not to attend, please let us know and we will gladly reschedule you to another date.
Canadian Red Cross First Aid – RECERTIFICATIONS:
Former certification must still be valid and a copy of it must be submitted before a new certification will be issued. Those that do not produce a copy of the old certification at time of the course will forfeit the course fees.
Parking
Students attending DLC courses are asked not to park directly in front of the other shops in the building, this is listed as 2 hour parking. There are lots of free parking available in the back lot
