Blended first aid

We offer on-site, Red Cross Certified, Standard First Aid and CPR courses in our Dartmouth location. Please read below for course details and view our calendar to find a date that suits your schedule.

Blended course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Online  portion needs to be completed prior to the in-person date chosen for the class.

Standard First Aid and CPR / AED Level C is a blended course with 4 – 6 hours of online knowledge training and 6 – 7 hours of in class skills training. This means that the in-class portion is a 1 day training session instead of 2 days

Once a participant registers for the class, an email will be sent with information regarding the online portion. This portion needs to be completed prior to the in-person date chosen for the class.

Emergency First Aid and  CPR / AED Level C is a blended 1 day course with 4.5 hours of self driven online and 4 – 5 hours of in class learning. Once a participant registers for the class, an email will be sent with information regarding the online portion.  This will take place in the morning

Once you select what course you want complete the checkout process and within 24 hours we will send you a link to do the online portion.  When complete then you have 6 weeks to do the skills evaluation.

Completion

100% attendance for the  skills demonstration, completion of the online content (you must bring proof of completion with you to the skillssession and 75% min. passing grade on written exam

Take-Home Materials

First Aid & CPR Manual will be emailed after the course.

Certification card upon completion emailed directly from the Canadian Red Cross.  E-mails are required to be provided.

Meets OHS and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Z1210-17 First aid training for the workplace.
